CITTÁ DE FIUME
(Translation: City of Fiume)
Reverse description The Hungarian-language face of the Austria P-21 base note, printed in red on white paper, mirrors the obverse layout with female portrait medallions in octagonal frames at left and right flanking the central denomination panel. The central inscription reads 'KÉT KORONA' alongside equivalent multilingual empire inscriptions, all enclosed within fine guilloche border work. The official 'CITTÁ DE FIUME' handstamp overprint, applied by decree to this side of the note, is the primary distinguishing feature of this Fiume provisional issue.
