Reverse description A crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed in the field within a beaded inner circle, with an orb on its breast bearing the denomination numeral. The encircling Latin legend commences at 1 o'clock and abbreviates the archducal and ducal titles of Maximilian II. A heraldic shield appears at the bottom of the coin, with the Prague mint mark positioned at 11 o'clock. The overall design is typical of the Habsburg imperial coinage of the mid-sixteenth century, executed in the hammered technique.
