Reverse description Central field features the denomination numeral II within a beaded inner circle, with the inscription KREVZER or abbreviated equivalent immediately below, clearly indicating the coin's face value of 2 Kreuzer. The surrounding circular Latin legend reads MONETA NOVA BIPONT II KREVZER ER, identifying this as a new coin of Zweibrücken (Bipont being the Latinized form of Zweibrücken). The layout is characteristic of small German silver circulation coinage of the early seventeenth century, with the denomination prominently centered for ease of identification in commerce. The hammered technique is evident in the irregular edge contour and slightly off-center strike.
