| Obverse description | Quartered coat of arms composed of the arms of Strasbourg (quarter 1), Manderscheid (quarter 2), Blankenheim (quarter 3), and the Landgraviate of Lower Alsace (quarter 4), set within a beaded inner circle with the two digits of the date divided on either side of the shield.
