Kremnica has struck trial pieces ahead of circulating issues as a matter of standard proofing practice, but copper trials for bimetallic or steel-composition circulating coins occasionally escape documentation entirely — attribution often rests on provenance rather than official mint records. The 2 Koruny circulating type was itself a late-era piece, struck in the final years before Slovakia's monetary preparations for euro adoption began redirecting mint priorities away from the koruna series entirely.
