| Obverse description | Crowned Russian Imperial double-headed eagle displayed in the field, with wings spread and each head facing outward to left and right respectively. The eagle bears the orb and sceptre in its talons, with the shield of St. George at its breast. The Imperial crown surmounts the two heads above. The date 1828 is inscribed in the exergue below the eagle, with small ornamental stops flanking the numerals. The coin's milled border frames the entire design. |
