Reverse description The reverse presents the denomination and date within an open laurel and oak wreath tied at the base with a ribbon bow. The numeral '2' appears at the top of the field, flanked on each side by a small rosette ornament, followed below by the Cyrillic inscription 'КОПѢЙКИ' in large bold letters. Beneath this appears the date '1863', with the mint mark 'ЕМ' (Ekaterinburg Mint initials, used as a pattern designation) below the date. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded rim consistent with the milled technique.
