Reverse description Central denomination inscription 貳角 (2 Jiao) displayed prominently in two large Chinese characters within the field, flanked on either side by symmetrical sprays of grain or laurel, tied at the base. A surrounding legend in Chinese characters reads 每枚當一圓五 (5 pieces equal 1 Yuan), referencing the coin's exchange value. The overall reverse design is neatly framed within a beaded border and reflects the standard decorative vocabulary employed at the Tientsin Mint during the early Republican period.
