Reverse description A sinuous five-clawed imperial dragon is depicted at centre, facing forward and clutching a flaming pearl. Above the dragon, a circular legend in Chinese ideograms reads the reign title and date of manufacture. Below, a straight English legend in Latin characters identifies the issuing authority and coin type. The composition conforms to the standard dragon-type reverse adopted for Qing imperial silver coinage under the 1903–1908 currency reforms.
