Obverse description Central field displays the Chinese denomination characters 二角 (2 Jiao) within a beaded inner circle. Surrounding the central inscription, eight Manchu script characters are arranged radially in the annular field, reading the reign title and mint authority. The outer border is formed by a continuous milled denticular rim. The overall design is plain and typographically focused, with no figural imagery, relying entirely on the calligraphic quality of the Manchu and Chinese script for its visual impact.

Reverse description Central field features a finely detailed Imperial Chinese dragon in high relief, shown in a sinuous coiled posture and grasping a flaming pearl at centre. The dragon is rendered with characteristic scaled body, clawed feet, and flowing whiskers amid stylized cloud motifs. Surrounding the dragon, a circular arrangement of Chinese characters in the field denotes the reign title, year of issue, province, and denomination. The coin is enclosed by a beaded inner circle and a denticular outer rim.
