| Obverse description | The obverse features an entirely typographic design with no effigy, displaying large Chinese characters arranged vertically and horizontally across the field. The central legend reads 銀毫 (silver jiao) flanked by 貳 (two) and 幣 (currency), denoting the denomination. The upper portion of the field carries the inscription 中華民國 (Republic of China), while the lower portion reads 福建省造 (Made in Fukien Province). The date 十三年 (Year 13, corresponding to 1924) appears along the left side, and the entire design is enclosed within an inner beaded border with a reeded outer rim. |
