| Reverse description | The reverse presents a finely detailed left-facing draped bust of the celebrated Ukrainian soprano Solomiya Krushelnytska, portrayed in traditional Ukrainian folk costume with an elaborately ornamented blouse, beaded necklace, and a large feathered stage hat. The effigy occupies the majority of the field, rendered in high relief with carefully modelled drapery and facial features. The name СОЛОМІЯ КРУШЕЛЬНИЦЬКА is inscribed in Cyrillic along the left arc of the legend. The birth and death years 1872 - 1952 appear in the lower exergue, flanking the base of the portrait. |
