| Obverse description | The obverse features a stylized decorative composition dominated by an enlarged snowflake motif occupying the left and upper portions of the field, rendered in low relief against a smooth background. To the right, abstract curved lines evoke the dynamic arc of a skating blade trace. The Ukrainian state trident emblem (tryzub) appears in a small shield at center-left, beneath the Cyrillic legend УКРАЇНА across the upper field. The denomination 2 ГРИВНІ is inscribed in large numerals and text at the right, with the date 2002 below, and the mint mark of the Banknote Printing and Minting Works of the National Bank of Ukraine appearing at the bottom of the field. |
