| Reverse description | The reverse features a richly detailed composition centered on a stylized Ukrainian decorative tree-of-life motif rendered in the traditional folk embroidery (vyshyvanka) style, rising from a symmetrically ornamented vase or pot at the base and extending into elaborate floral and foliate branches populated with stylized birds. Flanking the central tree at mid-field are two traditional Ukrainian ceramic jugs (makitry), positioned symmetrically on low pedestals. A band of stylized floral ornament in the same folk-art idiom occupies the lower portion of the field. The circular legend, distributed along the upper and right periphery of the field in Cyrillic characters, reproduces a famous literary quotation attributed to Nechuy-Levytsky. |
