| Reverse description | The reverse commemorates the 80th anniversary of the Act of Union (Sobornost) of Ukraine, proclaimed on 22 January 1919. At center, a seated female figure dressed in traditional Ukrainian folk costume with embroidered garments and a braided hairstyle is depicted in low relief, symbolizing Ukraine. To her left stands a heraldic shield bearing the lion passant of the Western Ukrainian People's Republic, superimposed over a sword, representing the unification of eastern and western Ukrainian lands. Behind the figure, a decorative cartouche surmounted by the tryzub frames a smaller standing figure. The arc legend 80 РОКІВ ПРОГОЛОШЕННЯ СОБОРНОСТІ УКРАЇНИ runs along the upper periphery, with the commemorative date 22 СІЧНЯ 1919 inscribed across the lower field. |
