| Obverse description | The upper portion of the obverse features a mirrored field bearing the denomination numeral 2 and the hryvnia currency symbol, flanked at lower left by the logo of the Banknote and Minting Works of the National Bank of Ukraine. The center of the field is dominated by a stylized composition of flags forming a decorative background, at the heart of which is a triangular vignette in the manner of graphic artist George Narbut, symbolizing the cultural and economic aspirations of the Ukrainian State during the Hetmanate period. Surrounding the central vignette are the inscriptions УКРАЇНІЗАЦІЯ (above) and ОСВІТА and ГРИВНЯ (to either side), all rendered in Cyrillic. In the lower portion of the mirrored field, the Small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine appears above the legend УКРАЇНА, with the mint year 2023 positioned to the right. |
