Reverse description The reverse presents an architectural vignette of the Cathedral of St. Sophia in Kyiv, a UNESCO World Heritage monument of the first half of the 11th century, constructed during the golden age of Kyivan Rus as the metropolitan cathedral. The building is shown in a detailed engraved rendition set against a multicolour guilloche underprint, with the inscription "Собор Святої Софії" identifying the subject. The denomination "2" appears in multiple positions around the design, with the year "1995" at the lower margin.
