Obverse description Within a polylobe border composed of small arcs, the armorial shield of Heinsberg is depicted in tilted fashion, surmounted by an ornate crested helmet rendered in the Gothic heraldic style. The shield and helm together form the central device of the obverse field. A circular legend in uncial Latin script surrounds the polylobe, reading the titles of the issuing bishop.
