| Obverse description | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of Friedrich, Prince and Regent of Baden, depicted with short wavy hair and a distinctive mustache, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair strands. The truncation of the neck is plain and unadorned. The engraver's signature C. VOIGT appears in small letters below the bust at the base. The circular legend FRIEDRICH PRINZ UND REGENT VON BADEN runs along the outer rim, separated from the effigy by a plain field, and the entire design is bordered by a fine toothed inner rim. |
