| Reverse description | The reverse presents a typeset text note within a decorative rectangular border composed of repetitive geometric chain ornaments. A large oval vignette in the centre contains the full legal text of the loan authorization in blackletter script, stating that the city of Kaiserslautern issued this loan of fl. 100,000 in the interest of industry, approved by the Royal Government of the Palatinate on 23 July and by the City Council on 28 July 1870, and guaranteed by the assets of the city. The denomination '2 fl. sudd. Wahr.' appears in small type at the top margin, and the reverse of the denomination text is printed inverted at the lower margin. |
