Reverse description A long cross pattee extending to the inner circle divides the reverse into four quarters, each bearing a portion of an intersecting legend. At the center of the cross is superimposed a quartered shield of Burgundy. The surrounding marginal legend in uncial characters reads MONETA DVX BRABANTIE ET LIMB, proclaiming the coinage of the Duke of Brabant and Limburg. The whole is enclosed within a beaded border.
