| Reverse description | The royal Albanian coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a shield bearing the double-headed black eagle, supported by draped mantling on either side and surmounted by the crested helmet of Skanderbeg. The word PROVA (trial) appears in small letters in the lower field to the right of the shield, and the denomination FR.AR·2 is inscribed in the lower exergue. The commemorative legend XXV·VJETORI·I·INDIPENDENCES arcs around the upper periphery, while the dates -28·XI·1912·1937- are inscribed along the lower border, marking the 25th anniversary of Albanian independence on 28 November 1912. |
