| Obverse description | The crowned royal arms of Bavaria occupy the central field, featuring the distinctive lozenge-patterned shield with a smaller inescutcheon bearing crossed swords beneath a crown. Two crowned lions rampant serve as supporters on either side, with ornate scrollwork and a royal cipher in the lower exergue. The engraver's signature 'Tiolier' appears at lower right, and the legend arcs along the upper periphery within a beaded border. |
