| Obverse description | Green-tinted note with an ornate letterpress border composed of foliate and floral guilloche work enclosing four corner vignettes with armorial shields. The upper centre bears the coat of arms of Lorient surmounted by decorative motifs, with the issuing authority's name and emission date printed above the large oval centrepiece bearing the denomination BON DE DEUX FRANCS in bold letterpress. Two manuscript signatures of the President and Vice-Presidents of the Chambre de Commerce appear below the denomination line, with a serial number in the lower centre. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in olive-green tones with a decorative letterpress border of guilloche and foliate sprays at the corners. A large central oval panel contains the redemption text in French, stating that the notes will be exchanged in multiples of twenty against Banque de France banknotes, with repayment guaranteed by an equivalent deposit held at the Banque de France in the name of the Chambre de Commerce de Lorient. A faint ghost impression of the obverse denomination is visible as an underprint through the paper. |
