| Obverse description | Blue-grey letterpress on buff paper, with a rectangular guilloche border incorporating decorative corner cartouches bearing the numeral 2 in circular medallions on each lateral side. The issuer's title CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE LIMOGES appears in a central ornamental panel at the top, flanked by foliate sprays. The denomination DEUX FRANCS is set in large bold lettering across the centre, with the serial number printed above it; two manuscript signatures appear below, attributed to the President and his delegate, with the issue date 17 AOÛT 1914 enclosed in a cartouche at the foot. |
