| Obverse description | Orange-tinted note with an elaborate guilloche underprint forming a central oval cartouche. The issuer's name appears on a banner scroll at the top, with the denomination DEUX FRANCS in large bold letterpress at centre, flanked by oak-leaf and laurel sprigs at the lower corners.
