| Obverse description | Red letterpress note on cream paper with a decorative border of wheat sheaves and laurel branches at the sides. At centre top, a circular vignette bears the municipal arms of Dieppe above the legend VILLE DE DIEPPE, flanked by the issuer title CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE DIEPPE on a ribbon banner. The denomination DEUX FRANCS and the large numeral 2 occupy the centre field, with two scroll cartouches on either side carrying approval and guarantee texts; signature lines for the Secrétaire Trésorier and the Président appear below, with the printer's imprint IMP.
