| Obverse description | Plain typographic layout on cream paper within a decorative floral border. The issuer's name 'CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE CALAIS' is set in bold letterpress at the top, with the denomination 'DEUX FRANCS' printed centrally in large type over a red numeral '2' underprint. Two oval text panels flank the central denomination, one referencing the authorization by the Administration Supérieure and the other citing the deliberation of the Chamber of Commerce dated 22 August 1914, with spaces for the Trésorier and Président signatures at the lower left and right respectively. |
