Obverse description Left-facing effigy of King Albert I rendered in high relief within a beaded border. The royal portrait is unadorned and naturalistic in style, typical of Devreese's medallic work of the period. The Dutch-language royal legend encircles the bust, reading 'ALBERT KONING DER BELGEN' (Albert, King of the Belgians). The engraver's signature 'G. DEVREESE.' appears below the truncation of the portrait.

Reverse description The denomination '2 FRANK' is prominently displayed in the central field, with the date '1911' positioned below. An olive branch and an oak branch frame the central design on either side, symbolising peace and strength respectively. The Dutch-language national motto 'EENDRACHT MAAKT MACHT' (Unity Makes Strength) encircles the design within a beaded border.
