Obverse description Full-length figure of King Ferdinand II standing facing right, robed in royal vestments, holding an orb in his extended left hand and a scepter in his right, with a sword at his belt. The royal figure is rendered within a beaded inner circle, with the mintmark divided on either side of the figure. The composition reflects the formal Habsburg royal portrait tradition characteristic of early seventeenth-century Hungarian coinage.
