Obverse description The bimetallic inner disc features a continuous ribbon design bearing the conjoined effigies of King Willem-Alexander and his six predecessors — Queen Beatrix, Queen Juliana, Queen Wilhelmina, King Willem III, King Willem II, and King Willem I — rendered in right-facing profile and flowing sequentially across the design. The legend 'WILLEM-ALEXANDER KONING DER NEDERLANDEN' arcs around the upper portion of the inner disc, while the inscription '200 JAAR KONINKRIJK' appears to the left of the effigies. The date 2013, the Royal Dutch Mint mintmark, the mint master mark, and the designers' initials are also present within the inner disc. The outer ring carries the twelve stars of the European Union.
