| Reverse description | The brass center features a map of Europe positioned to the left of the field, with the numeral '2' in large format occupying the right portion of the center, rendered in the standard euro coin style. The outer copper-nickel ring carries the multilingual trial inscription 'ESSAI · PRUEBA · TRIAL · PROVA' arranged around the circumference, with decorative star ornaments serving as separators, confirming this piece's status as a pattern or fantasy issue. |

Issued to mark the 65th anniversary of the SEAT 600, the car credited — perhaps more than any other single object — with motorizing postwar Spain. Franco's government partnered with Fiat in the mid-1950s to produce an affordable domestic vehicle; the result, launched in 1957, put a country still emerging from autarky behind the wheel for the first time. By the time production ended in 1973, over 793,000 had been built at SEAT's Barcelona plant.
The commemorative program was approved under Spain's ongoing €2 national series celebrating cultural and industrial heritage. Mintage was set at 8 million pieces.
