| Reverse description | The standard reverse design for the 2 Euro denomination, engraved by Luc Luycx, occupies the bimetallic inner disc. A large numeral '2' is prominently displayed to the left of center, with the denomination legend 'EURO' to its right. A stylized map of the European Union in relief fills the right portion of the inner disc, depicting member states without borders against a lined background. The designer's initials 'LL' appear to the lower right of the map. The outer ring carries the twelve stars of the European Union evenly spaced around the full circumference. |
