| Obverse description | The bimetallic centre features a sculptural bust derived from Michelangelo's celebrated figure of Cleopatra, rendered in high relief in a classical Renaissance style. The draped figure faces slightly left, with elaborately coiled hair adorned at the crown and a serpent entwined around the forearm and torso, evoking the master's iconic drawing. To the left of the effigy, the mint mark 'R' and the birth year '1475' are inscribed in the field; to the right, the commemorative year '2025' appears alongside the legend 'SAN MARINO' arranged vertically. The name 'MICHELANGELO' runs along the lower left arc of the inner disc, completing the commemorative inscription.
