Obverse description
Michelangelo`s famous black pencil drawing of `The Head of Cleopatra` with a snake from 1535, now housed in the Casa Buonarroti Foundation and Museum in Florence. The issuing country `SAN MARINO` is on the right, the issue reason `MICHELANGELO` and the `R` of the Roman mint are on the left, and the dates `1475` and `2025` are visible on either side of the motif. The initials `SP` of the coin designer Silvia Petrassi at the bottom complete the motif.
