| Obverse description | The national side features a stylised braid motif symbolically uniting the three Baltic States, rendered in an interlaced design that evokes their shared historical and cultural bonds. A large stylised numeral '100' dominates the central field, commemorating the centenary of Baltic independence, flanked by the heraldic emblems of all three states. The legend 'LIETUVA' and the date '2018' are inscribed in a semi-circle within the inner disc, accompanied by the Lithuanian Mint mark 'LMK' and the designer's initials 'JP'. The twelve stars of the European Union flag are incorporated into the outer ring, as prescribed for all euro coinage. |
