Reverse description A central fasces — the Roman symbol of authority and unity — is depicted vertically in the field, overlaid by a crossed bow and arrow, symbolising military readiness. The entire central device is enclosed within an open wreath of laurel and palm fronds, the branches tied at the base. Two cornucopias flank the composition on either side, their mouths curving outward and overflowing with fruits and foliage. The mint name BOGOTA appears spaced around the upper arc, with the denomination numeral 2, assayer initials, and mint mark distributed in the lower field and periphery, all within a reeded border.
