Obverse description Luis 1st Royal coat of arms surrounded by legend and date. NOTE: Higher value comes from how much of the legend and date are present in the flan. Due to the flan being small, no date has been appreciated on any coins known so far. NOTE: Luis I coinage is among the rarest and most valuable for collectors. He only reigned 7 months during the year of 1724 and then he died at age 17. His father Felipe V returned to the throne after this, hence Felipe V coinage exists prior and post Luis` I. Any coinage from posterior years was already minted at the time of his dead and kept in storage, or was released as a memento from the dead King.
