Reverse description The quartered royal arms of Spain — comprising the castles of Castile, the lions of León, the pales of Aragon, and the chains of Navarre — centered on an escutcheon bearing the fleur-de-lis of the Bourbon dynasty, the whole surmounted by the royal crown. The shield is flanked by the denomination numerals 2 to the left and S to the right, with the mint mark M and assayer initials IJ placed below the shield. The surrounding circular legend reads IN·ULTROQ·FELIX· AUSPICE·DEO, separated by pellets.
