Obverse description Bare laureate bust of Ferdinand VII facing right, rendered in a neoclassical style with fine hair detail and a plain truncation. The royal legend FERDIN·VII·D·G·HISP·ET IND·R· encircles the effigy, reading from lower left around the periphery. The date 1813 appears in the lower field below the bust, flanked by small ornamental stops. The portrait exhibits strong relief characteristic of Cádiz mint coinage of this period.
