Obverse description Draped bust of Felipe V facing right, with elaborate curled wig, occupying the central field. The circular Latin legend reads PHILIP·V·D·G·HISPAN·ET·IND·REX around the periphery, with the mint date 1731 placed in the exergue below the truncation. The portrait is rendered in a baroque style consistent with early 18th-century Spanish coinage. The rim is defined by a fine milled border.
