Reverse description A wild man (Wilder Mann), the traditional heraldic supporter of Brunswick, stands facing front at center, wearing a crown of leaves and holding a palm branch in his right hand. To the left, the elaborate quartered arms of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel are displayed on a crowned baroque cartouche, encircled by the collar of the Order of the Garter or similar chivalric chain. The date appears to the right of the figure in the field. The mintmaster's initials B.I.D. are visible in the exergue. The reverse legend arcs across the top of the coin.
