Obverse description Bare-headed, draped bust of Emperor Joseph II facing right, rendered in high relief with fine portrait detail characteristic of late 18th-century Habsburg coinage. The emperor's hair is styled in a short queue with natural curls above the ear. A circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, divided across the upper and lower fields, reading IOSEPH II D G R I S A and GERM HV BO REX. The mint mark E (Alba Iulia) appears below the bust truncation. The field is smooth and unadorned, with a beaded inner border and milled outer edge.
