Reverse description Elaborate quartered coat of arms of the Bishopric of Speyer surmounted by an ornate princely crown, the shield flanked by decorative Baroque scrollwork and cartouche elements in high relief. The arms are divided into multiple quarterings displaying the heraldic devices of the see and the bishop's personal arms. The Latin legend surrounding the field records the commemorative date PRÆ • VV • ET OD • D • XXVI FEB 17 11, referencing the 26th of February 1711. The date 1711 is also prominently placed in the upper field above the crown.
