| Reverse description | A rectangular cartouche with ornate scrollwork and foliate decorations to either side contains a six-line Latin commemorative inscription recording the date of the king's death at the Battle of Lützen. The inscription is evenly spaced within the cartouche, and the surrounding decorative elements feature symmetrical baroque strapwork and floral motifs typical of Nuremberg goldsmith artistry of the period. |
