| Reverse description | A large double-headed imperial eagle displayed, each head surmounted by a separate crown and the whole ensemble topped by a central imperial crown, all within a beaded inner circle. The eagle's breast bears an ornate composite shield of arms quartered with the hereditary territories of the Habsburg dynasty, including Austria, Bohemia, Hungary, and Burgundy among others. The Latin legend, reading the titles of Archduke of Austria and Duke of Carinthia along with the date, runs continuously around the periphery within a toothed outer border. |
