| Obverse description | Ferdinand II enthroned facing, robed in imperial regalia with crown, holding a sceptre in his right hand and an orb in his left, set within a beaded inner circle. The emperor is depicted in a frontal, hieratic posture with richly detailed drapery characteristic of early 17th-century Habsburg coinage. The surrounding Latin legend reads FERDINANDVS II D G RO IM S A G H B REX, separated by stops, running clockwise between the inner circle and the milled rim. |
