| Obverse description | Draped bust of Queen Christina facing three-quarters to the left, her hair worn long and loose, with an elaborate lace collar (ruff) visible below the neckline. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the early Baroque style characteristic of Swedish royal portraiture of the 1640s. A continuous Latin legend surrounds the bust, broken by a small ornamental stop at the top of the field. |
