| Obverse description | Draped bust of Christian V facing right, wearing a flowing curled periwig rendered in fine baroque detail, with armor visible at the shoulder truncation. The effigy is boldly struck in high relief, engraved in the late 17th-century court portrait style characteristic of Anton Meybusch. The circular Latin legend is divided by the portrait, reading CHRIST · V · DEI GRAT, abbreviating the king's name and his divine-right title. Bullet stops separate the legend elements, and the rim is plain with a fine milled edge. |
