Obverse description Draped and armored bust of Duke Christian of Saxe-Eisenberg facing right, with flowing curled wig rendered in fine detail. The effigy displays elaborate armor with decorative shoulder plates and a lace cravat visible at the neck. The surrounding legend reads D:G CHRISTIANUS SAX I C M A & W D, referencing the duke's full title by the grace of God. The portrait is executed in high relief in the Baroque style typical of late 17th-century German ducal coinage. The coin's milled border frames the design neatly.
