Obverse description Two allegorical putti in flight are depicted in the upper field, each bearing a ribbon or garland that joins above a pair of heraldic shields positioned side by side in the lower field. The left shield bears the arms of Brandenburg-Ansbach, featuring an eagle, while the right shield displays the quartered arms of the bride's house, both shields framed by elaborate baroque mantling and foliate ornaments. The surrounding legend reads CONIUNCTIO FELIX, denoting a happy union, and is separated from the inner design by a finely beaded border running along the coin's entire circumference. The composition is rendered in a refined baroque engraving style consistent with mid-eighteenth-century German commemorative coinage.
